What Is TOBU Discount Pass?
Tobu Railway Discount Passes are very convenient and cost-effective rail
tickets exclusively for foreign travellers, designed to help bring them
quickly from Asakusa, a popular sightseeing spot in Tokyo, to Nikko and
Kinugawa-onsen are ones, the most popular sightseeing spots in Japan
Special Privileges:
I. Special discounts on train fares!
Travelers receive discounts on the train fare between Asakusa and Tobu
Nikko Station
and/or Kinugawa-onsen.
II. 20% discount on limited express fares
Travelers purchasing discount pass who reserve seats on limited express
at the same time
can receive a 20% discount on the additional express train fees.
(additional fares apply to limited express trains)
III. Special discounts on fares for private compartments
Travelers purchasing a discount pass who reserve a private compartment
at the same
time can receive some discounts on private compartment fees.
(limited express train tickets are necessary when using private compartments)
IV. Unlimited rides on trains between Tobu Railway’s stations within the
Nikko-Kinugawa area
Travelers with discount passes may get unlimited rides on trains between
Tobu Railway
Station with the Nikko/Kinugawa area ( between Shimoimaichi to Shinfujiwara
Station and
Tobu Nikko Station), helping to make your trip more active.
V. Unlimited rides on local buses convenient for sightseeing
Travelers with discount passes can have unlimited number of rides on local
buses that
are convenient for sightseeing.

VI. Discounts on admission to some tourist facilities
The WORLD HERITAGE PASS and KINUGAWA THEME PARK PASS come with privileges,
such as special discounts on admission to Nikko’s shrines and temples (designated
as World
Heritage sites) and theme parks. The passes also provide discounts on admission
to some
facilities and discounts on fares of some transportation.

Validity period: 4 consecutive days
Train: Round trip between Asakusa and Tobu Nikko/Shin-fujiwara
(unlimited rides between Shimo-imaichi and Tobu Nikko/Shinfujiwara)
Bus: unlimited rides between Tobu Nikko Station, Chuzenji-onsen, and Yumoto-
onsen/Kotoku-onsen/Kirifuri-kogen
II. WORLD HERITAGE PASS - the most popular pass!
Good for those interested in history, who would like to go to Nikko's
world famous shrines
and temples, world heritage-designated, and/or those planning to make a
one-day trip or
two-day and one-night trip

Comes with a combination pass to Nikko Toshogu Shrine, Nikko-san Rinno-ji Temple, and Futarasan-Jinja Shrine
